Key Responsibilities

Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war
Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space-based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities
Working as a full-stack developer on both front-end and back-end software using JavaScript
Developing automated tests (unit tests, service level tests, and end-to-end tests) to ensure high quality software
Contributing to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines

Requirements

Development experience with Java, JavaScript, or Python
Experience with application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
Development experience with Linux and shell scripting (e.g., bash, ash, ksh)
Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government Top Secret security clearance

Nice to Have

Recent on-program Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience (e.g., automation, incident management, monitoring, optimization, programming/scripting, metrics, security)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), OpenStack, Ansible
Familiarity with the Space Domain
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver results
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery
Experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms
Active TS/SCI security clearance
