As a Software Engineer Senior within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Key Responsibilities

Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

Strong experience in Mongo DB and Java.
Application Development, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Design, Group Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Release Management, Software Solutions, User Experience (UX) Design skills.
Knowledge of application delivery process, application design, architecture, application development tools, application testing, packaged application integration, system development life cycle, technical troubleshooting, technical writing/documentation.
Typically requires a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant/industry experience.
No required certifications, but certifications are often desired.
Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as established by the specific government client contract.

Nice to Have

Experience with application delivery process, application design, architecture, application development tools, application testing, packaged application integration, system development life cycle, technical troubleshooting, technical writing/Documentation.
