Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
  • Supporting the development of mission-critical ground software solutions for government, commercial, and international customers.
  • Collaborating within Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies.
  • Developing innovative features to enable faster, clearer, and more efficient decision-making for executives.
  • Supporting integration and testing of software components, including web applications and web services.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of open architecture, cloud computing design, and security principles.
  • Proficiency in software development using Java or C#.
  • UI/UX development experience.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cloud environments.
  • Experience integrating software components via machine-to-machine interfaces (e.g., RESTful APIs, ActiveMQ).
  • Understanding or proficiency in application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Background developing, debugging, and testing web applications and web services.
  • Experience with ELK stack (Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash).
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.

Qualifications

  • Experience level: Experienced Professional.
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance (desired).
