Key Responsibilities

Join the Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) and software engineering team to design and develop mission-critical subsystems for the FBM program.
Incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
Develop flight software for missile systems in a team environment.
Contribute to the development of software that supports strategic defense missions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
Previous C++ or Python development and testing experience.
Active Interim Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Experience in processor and microprocessor firmware (non-OS based).
Understanding of missile or satellite software systems.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent team orientation and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in processor firmware and software (OS based), including software drivers and firmware wrappers.
Experience with missile or satellite software systems.
Understanding of software development for space or defense applications.

Qualifications

Experience level: Experienced Professional
Security clearance: Top Secret (must be a US Citizen)
