About the Role

You will be the Software Engineer Sr. for the Simulation & Systems Labs (SSL). Our team is the place to build your career in Software Engineering. Key Responsibilities

  • Integration and troubleshooting of SSS software products in hardware-in-the-loop and man-in-the-loop lab environments.
  • Software development and integration for a distributed, real-time simulation system that includes a mix of aircraft and simulation software and hardware.
  • Use software engineering and integration experience to test and support SSS software in different environments and venues supporting program customers.
  • Simulation software engineering experience.
  • Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts used to develop and integrate software for products primarily founded on the reuse of existing software, and supporting Digital Transformation.

Requirements

  • Software Development Experience using C++.
  • Experience developing software on Linux.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical Field (STEM) with a minimum of 4 years professional related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with real-time software development & integration.
  • Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Experience performing software integration in hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop simulation environments.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as Jira.
  • An extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Active F-35 program access.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical Field (STEM).
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional related experience.
