About the Role

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP). The role involves requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, coding, unit testing, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. Key Responsibilities

Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP).
Perform requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, coding, and unit testing.
Assist with integration and support formal testing and delivery of software.
Work within a full software development cycle including design, architecture, and testing.
Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements

Experience with programming languages such as C and C++.
Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as GreenHill or VxWorks.
Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
Experience with full software life cycle development including design, architecture, and testing.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field from an accredited college/university.
Active/Final Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Agile Software Development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Previous experience designing to software requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Experience with C, C++, RTOS, and full software development lifecycle.
Active/Final Secret Security Clearance.
