Key Responsibilities

Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war.
Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space-based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness.
Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities.
Designing, developing, and deploying modern user interfaces and back-end services using Javascript (Node.js) or Java technologies.
Working on a mission-critical project that requires a deep understanding of Java, Linux, and containerization technologies.

Requirements

Development experience with any of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript (Node.js).
Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift).
US Citizenship is not required to start, but the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance is necessary.

Nice to Have

Recent experience as a Software Lead/Architect (e.g., architecture design, technical research, project management, define/enforce code quality standards).
Experience with software version control tools, such as GIT.
Experience working on large-scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools.
Familiarity with the Space Domain.
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment.
Knowledge of database management systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Experience with API design and development, such as RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Orbital dynamics and AstroStandards math libraries.
