Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment utilizing Agile software methodologies and processes.
  • Autonomously work on complex tasks and assist with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Engage with customers for requirements, technical engineering meetings, and demos.
  • Provide leadership to early career employees.
  • Provide architectural insight to a large code base.

Requirements

  • At least 9 years of technical experience as a Software Engineer in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: Java, C++, C#.
  • Acceptable degree programs include science and technology related programs such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, etc.
  • Ability to obtain a customer-approved security certification within 6 months (Security+ or CISSP/SSCP).
  • TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, unit testing, and configuration management.
  • Experience with database and system administration.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and lead teams.
  • Experience with XML, Windows, .NET, LINUX/UNIX, system software and scripting development, web development, system analysis, system design, software design, development, implementation, and testing.
