About the Role

Software Engineering &amp; Development (State Street Financial Services, Inc.; Atlanta, Georgia): Will provide electronic trading platforms for multiple asset classes. This is a hands-on backend developer position within a small elite development team that moves very fast. The products are built on Java, Node.js and Oracle on the server side.

Key Responsibilities

Writing clean and quality code
Design and implement features for Fund Connection applications
Deploy Fund Connection microservices to AWS
Work on integration and post production defect analysis and resolution
Technical support for Fund Connection applications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; plus 5 years of relevant development experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with core Java 11+ and JEE technologies such as concurrency, JDBC, or Spring
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Node.js and GraphQL
Strong skills with Object Oriented design and code refactoring
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with functional and reactive programming (FRP)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data modeling and database development (SQL, PL/SQL)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with microservices architecture and Kubernetes
Strong communication skills and work ethic
