This role is based in VA and is a remote position, allowing work from a quiet, confidential space in a home location approved by PNC. The position involves envisioning the future of Commercial Real Estate Initiatives, partnering with business units to develop digital experience roadmaps, managing multiple software development projects, and leading a team of 25+ resources with a focus on career development. Strong management, leadership, and Agile experience are required.

Key Responsibilities

Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market.
Encourage sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design.
Manage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines.
Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.
Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage multiple development projects, development groups and/or application support functions for a major business segment.
Oversee the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems.
Allocate and ensure resource arrangements during the application development life cycle.
Maintain relationships with clients to ensure the implementation quality of application systems.
Provide solutions or recommendations on complicated technology issues for application development and implementation.

Requirements

Strong management and leadership experience, including managing a team of 25+ resources.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple software development projects and teams.
Knowledge of current technology trends, capabilities, and practices.
Experience in developing, validating, and driving digital experience roadmaps.
Industry-relevant experience of 8+ years, with at least 5 years of prior management experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher; in lieu of a degree, a combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
Ability to foster innovation and drive technology architecture and solution design.

Qualifications

Typically requires a university/college degree; higher education or certifications are desirable.
Industry-relevant experience of 8+ years.
