Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineers and be responsible for some of AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products.
  • Build applications for external and internal use as well as large scale systems to improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a US-based University in a graduate program majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or experience with technical skills such as C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB.
  • Experience or familiarity with ASIC design and verification.
  • Interest or background in ML and AI.
  • Knowledge of System/Board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, and power design.
  • Experience with hardware automation, validation, and testing.
  • Familiarity with UNIX and JTAG tools.
  • Understanding of pre-silicon and/or post-silicon platforms.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, CPU & GPU architecture.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building applications for large scale systems.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware design and verification tools.
  • Familiarity with AMD hardware products or similar technologies.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a graduate program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
