Key Responsibilities

Implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture.
Perform ongoing security testing and code review to improve software security.
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise.
Provide engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Contribute to all levels of the architecture and maintain technical documentation.
Consult team members on secure coding practices.
Develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices.

Requirements

At least twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years of additional software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.
One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or Elastic Certified Engineer.

Nice to Have

Willingness to support on-call status rotated throughout the team.
Familiarity with Git, Kubernetes, Docker, or comparable DevOps experience.
Familiarity with Spring Framework/Spring Batch.
Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with test frameworks such as Junit and Mockito.
Familiarity with UI frameworks such as ReactJS.
Familiarity with agency data flow formats and standards.
Familiarity with analyst toolkit applications.
Recent work experience with Java (Maven) with some Python.
Recent work experience with Streaming data frameworks (Flink, Spring Cloud Data Flow).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.
