About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build components of software platforms and collaborate with Application Development teams regarding design patterns, best practices, approved technologies, tools, and solutions.
• Build technology platforms that are modern, scalable, and highly available.
• Design application components to fit within the solution architecture.
• Plan, drive, and deliver innovative reusable software solutions.
• Extensive hands-on development in Claims application with business knowledge of end-to-end claim processing including adjudication and pricing.
• Build reusable workflows using PEGA that can be leveraged for multiple areas.
• Implement PEGA applications into cloud infrastructure and work with vendor products to build integration design with claim applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in information technology, computers, or engineering plus five years of experience in software development/engineering.
• Or a master's or foreign equivalent degree in information technology, computers, or engineering plus three years of experience in software development/engineering.
• Experience with Pega PRPC, Java, COBOL, AWS, HTML, XML, CSS, EDI, JSON, MySQL, AWS Aurora, Postgres, Oracle, DB2, IMS, Apache TOMCAT, AWS Server and Serverless, Windows, Linux, and Mainframe Z/OS.
• Knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, Eclipse, Jira, Rally, CA Agile Central, Service NOW, IBM Mainframes, JCL, CICS, SQL, MS SQL Server, Use Cases and Data Flow Diagrams, Crystal Reports, MS Excel, Visio, Endevor, Trizetto Facets, Sybase, ClaimCheck, and ClaimsXten.
• Ability to work in hybrid work schedule and ensure internet connection meets specified requirements.
