About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud to promote reusability globally.
• Document business requirements in the form of architecture and entity relationship diagrams.
• Produce code for back, middle, and front-end applications at all stages of the project life cycle.
• Implement tools and techniques to monitor and tune database performance, scalability, and security.
• Process flow charts and functional flow diagrams.
• Perform Proof of Concept on new and upcoming technologies to enhance performance and end-user experience.
• Build automated deployment platforms using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Drive automation and integration with CI/CD tools for continuous validation.
• Create and optimize infrastructure performance metrics to automate manual data object creation and test cases.
• Support associated code and data migration projects by architecting end-to-end (E2E) data ingestion and transformation needs.
• Deploy and develop E2E cloud applications and services.
• Migrate existing dashboards and application/web servers to AWS.
• Use automation tools to triage bugs and system failures, address quality issues, and find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code.
• Map user stories to detailed technical specifications.
• Articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications.
• Complete peer code reviews to identify code defects and work with other developers to address quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Four years of experience in software development.
• Experience within the healthcare domain.
• Experience with AWS Cloud, Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Hadoop (Hive/Impala), SAS, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, Terraform, Spark, Ansible, DB2, Oracle, Teradata, UNIX, GIT, and Agile methodology.
• Internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speeds if working remotely.
