Software Solutions Architect ( Remote )

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, account managers, product owners, and analysts to understand business requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical diagrams, designs, guides, and implementations
• Understand basic SDLC and work within agile project management styles
• Document technical designs and data exchange standards for handoff to development teams
• Guide development teams towards successful implementation through communication
• Design database schemas in collaboration with DBAs to meet performance, application, and reporting needs
• Attend release CAB meetings to discuss potential changes
• Participate in client and product request meetings to understand and estimate new projects
• Perform debugging, testing, code improvement, and redesign tasks
• Work with customer service and quality analysis teams to optimize products and ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide ongoing technical guidance and architectural expertise during solution design, implementation, and optimization
• Contribute to ASP.NET Core services via code commits and reviews
• Research and improve service performance through debugging, code commits, and database query fixes
• Perform hands-on development approximately 15% of the time
• Travel within the U.S. at least 25% of the time

Requirements

• Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, and ASP.NET Core tech stacks
• Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Event Grids, Service Buses, and Blob Storages (or similar cloud services)
• Experience with data persistence technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or Redis
• High-level understanding of data exchange protocols such as HTTP and SFTP
• Experience with git or other version control tools
• Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORMs

Nice to Have

• Experience working in healthcare technology or specialty medication access platforms
• Knowledge of electronic prescribing, benefits verification, prior authorizations, and patient services systems
• Experience designing and working with API standards like Swagger/OpenAPI
