About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver solution architecture artifacts that support IT solutions in a focused and aligned environment.
• Partner with IT managers and stakeholders to understand business capabilities, outcomes, and IT solution objectives.
• Provide prospective conceptual solutions and cost estimations considering economic impacts of design decisions.
• Define features, phases, and requirements that translate into tangible business value.
• Develop application and technology roadmaps for assigned application portfolio domains.
• Participate in IT solution demonstrations and technical reviews to ensure quality and alignment with business needs.
• Participate in an Architecture Community of Practice to ensure consistency in design and tradeoff management.
• Identify and validate innovative and existing technologies through rapid prototyping and pilot testing.
• Work with suppliers to understand technical characteristics and assist with architectural integration.
• Collaborate with architects and solution teams on in-flight projects to provide guidance on enterprise architecture strategy, development, and data/integration methodologies.
• Coordinate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, project, and product teams to ensure consistency with overall architecture strategy and identify the need for modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in solution architecture.
• 5 years experience in data modeling and use of data modeling tools such as ERWin or ER Studio.
• 5 years experience in applying data architecture best practices to Data Warehousing and cloud-based data solutions including Snowflake.
• 5 years experience defining data integration solutions using data streaming and ETL tools for large datasets migration.
• 5 years experience in analytical data management schema definitions, including Star, Snowflake, and Starflake schemas.
• 5 years experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
