About the Role

Solutions Architect at Sutter Health advises strategic direction while providing leadership for the design, engineering, and implementation of consolidating, standardizing infrastructure and developing applications throughout Sutter Health. The role involves interpreting architecture requirements, designing, evaluating, selecting, building, and integrating new technology to support Sutter Health objectives. The Solutions Architect develops and maintains the technical product roadmap, performs in-depth evaluations for infrastructure and data management solutions, and provides subject matter expertise for solutions, managing escalated production issues. This hybrid role may involve working from home 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Advise on strategic direction and provide leadership for design, engineering, and implementation of infrastructure and applications.
Interpret architecture requirements, perform product evaluations, and oversee the selection, build, and integration of new technology.
Develop, maintain, and own the technical product roadmap.
Perform in-depth evaluations of information services, infrastructure, applications, and enterprise data management solutions.
Develop enterprise infrastructure, data management, and application strategies, standards, and solution architecture.
Serve as a subject matter expert for solutions and manage escalated production issues with internal teams and vendors.
Oversee software, hardware, and infrastructure design, owning SDLC, continuous integration processes, and strategies.
Lead systems engineering projects across multiple teams through collaboration and coordination.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
At least 8 years of experience in a business intelligence and developer environment, building analytical reports and products for end users.
6 years of experience in healthcare.
6 years of experience formulating enterprise strategic architecture framework plans.
6 years of experience engineering, implementing, operating, maintaining, and supporting server and storage platforms.
6 years of experience in visualization technologies.
6 years of experience analyzing information, problems, and situations to identify patterns and formulate conclusions.
6 years of experience developing technical and user documentation.
6 years of experience working with Power BI.
4 years of experience in Clarity.
2 years of experience in Power Apps.
2 years of experience in BPC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Benefits & Perks

Competitive salary range of $134,867.20 - $202,300.80 annually.
Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
