About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and designing the systems and applications architecture for both current and future business applications.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and quality teams to ensure applications meet business requirements, are well documented, and have support and maintenance processes in place.
• Drive standard and efficient applications and infrastructure design by aligning the infrastructure roadmap with the application technology strategy, hardware vendor roadmaps, and service capabilities.
• Assist in identifying emerging technologies that could positively impact the organization and evaluate their strategic fit.
• Contribute to technology strategy through consulting support, requirements gathering, collection of deployment plans, and synthesis of business goals and operating strategies.

Requirements

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of deep technical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with design and implementation of high availability applications infrastructure on various computing platforms.
• Experience implementing new technologies, converting technologies, and technology management.
• Strong experience in design and deployment of solutions using architectural principles, standards, and frameworks.
• 7+ years of hands-on development experience in SQL and/or Python for data warehouse management, data integration, and data lake management.
• Deep knowledge of SQL development, including designing, implementing, and optimizing complex database objects.
• Experience working with Azure data architecture, building data pipelines on cloud-based platforms, and familiarity with Delta Lakehouse Medallion architecture and data warehousing solutions.
• Exposure to Spark-based data platforms like Databricks or Microsoft Fabric for data engineering, analytics, and machine learning workflows.
• Understanding of ELT vs ETL and building efficient data pipelines with modern Change Data Capture processes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with data mapping and transformation techniques for Dynamics 365 Data Entities and Data Management Framework.
• Knowledge of Power BI and its integration with Microsoft Fabric for analytics.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
• Proficiency in managing the ML lifecycle using Azure ML and/or Databricks MLflow, including model training, tracking, deployment, and monitoring.

Nice to Have

• Experience with design and implementation of high availability applications infrastructure on a wide variety of computing platforms.
• Previous experience implementing and managing new technologies and converting existing technologies.

Qualifications
