Solutions Architect

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide early engagement support to understand requirements, determine technical solution priorities, pain points, vet solution alternatives, and shape the proposal.
• Analyze RFP requirements, instructions, and evaluation criteria, and develop responsive, innovative solutions including staffing and other costs; review solutions developed by others; present solutions to internal and external partners.
• Work with the Capture, Proposal and Program Managers (and Pricing) to develop solutions iteratively, including technical, management, transition, and cost/estimation aspects.
• Review iterative solution approaches with the leadership team and subject matter experts, conduct solution health assessments, and include the solution's voice in Gate reviews.
• Research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies, proposing changes and tailoring solutions to meet customer objectives.
• Author technical volume introductions, key sections, and oral slides, including developing compelling graphics.
• Lead multiple technical SMEs to develop a winning overall solution approach and contribute expertise in one or more domains.
• Lead technical solution strategy throughout the Capture and Proposal lifecycle, from investigation through submission.
• Capture lessons learned for outcomes, contribute to win strategies, and develop technical win themes and solution plans.
• Ensure solution alignment with win strategy and PTW, and document assumptions.
• Develop artifacts to describe and present all solution elements throughout the capture process.
• Identify and select the best technical solutions and approaches to meet acquisition requirements.
• Lead the design of the technical, management, and transition story, and artifacts needed to sell the solution.
• Assist operations experts and authors in developing technical, management, and transition responses.
• Review proposals and provide critical feedback to strengthen solutions and proposals (color team reviews).

Requirements

• Experience in Security System Engineering / Solution Architecture with emphasis on Cloud Security, cloud migration, and Security Architecture.
• Ability to perform architectural trade-offs including Zero-Trust, Data Protection, System Integration, Identity Management, and Satellite Security (ground and terrestrial).
• Ability to design Threat Intelligence applications—contextual, predictive, threat orchestration, and automation using AI/ML.
• Experience working in and with the Intelligence Community environment, specifically with Secure Software Development and DevSecOps.
