About the Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing IT solutions tailored to our evolving business needs. You will focus on translating business requirements into high-performing, scalable, and technically feasible solutions. Success in this role is measured by the impact your designs have on the business and the effective execution of these solutions. You will be part of an ambitious re-platforming initiative leveraging technologies like AWS, Kafka, Spring Framework, and Kubernetes, directly influencing the organization's digital transformation at Plexus Worldwide®, a company dedicated to health, wellness, and community support.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with project teams, product teams, and various stakeholders to develop project proposals, conduct proofs-of-concept, and ensure successful delivery.
Ensure solutions align with technology standards, industry models, and design objectives, as defined by enterprise architecture and the CTO.
Assess business requirements to identify and implement optimal software, integration technologies, and system architectures.
Identify and recommend emerging technologies in eCommerce, hosting, and integration sectors to enhance efficiencies and improve security.
Facilitate collaboration with Lines of Business (LOBs), enterprise architects, security, data engineering, and IT delivery to ensure successful program execution.
Design and deliver high-impact, scalable solutions across Business, Data, Application, and Technology domains.
Utilize AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and other technologies to build secure, scalable cloud-based architectures.
Review solutions and validate design patterns to ensure consistency with industry best practices and organizational standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in a systems or solutions architect role, designing and implementing scalable solutions.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed business needs and KPIs.
Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Kafka, and iPaaS solutions.
Proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, particularly Next.js, and content management systems (CMS).
Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation.
Ability to review solutions and validate design patterns according to best practices.

Nice to Have

Experience with content management systems (CMS).
Knowledge of security and user experience enhancements.
Familiarity with organizational standards and governance practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in solutions or systems architecture.
