About the Role

The Space Force MUOS program is seeking a Web Software Developer and Data Analytics Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ. The role involves designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise web applications to modernize data management and integration for customers. The position requires working with relational databases, data mining, and developing web applications using the Django Python Framework, with a focus on security, system administration, and technical analysis. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise web applications to modernize data management and integration.
Work with a small team to create relational database solutions for project data, licensing, and system configurations.
Develop and maintain web applications built on the Django Python Framework using Microsoft SQL Server for data storage.
Provide innovative and creative solutions to complex problems using established policies and standards.
Exercise independent judgment and display initiative on assignments.
Perform technical analysis in web application planning, engineering, and design.
Proactively analyze and recommend implementation techniques and tools for web application solutions.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
Requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
Experience with the Django Python Framework.
Experience with MS SQL Server database administration and best practices.
Proficiency in Python, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and HTMX.
Experience with GitLab and Git for version control.
Ability to develop and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and methodologies.
Ability to work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation.
Experience with Restful API development.
Able to develop with information security in mind.
Experience with system administration for hosting and deployment within an enterprise environment, including Active Directory authentication.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications
