Sr. Business Analysis Managers located in Overland Park, KS will conduct fast-paced analysis on various initiatives and trends in customer acquisition, revenue, and churn that drive the trajectory of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence marketing strategies and provide strong decision support to business owners across the organization.
  • Provide analysis of key initiatives launched by T-Mobile, including Un-carrier moves and promotions.
  • Provide strong decision support and robust recommendations based on data-driven analysis, executing high-profile analysis, and delivering data narratives across business groups.
  • Measure or assist in measuring the value of our acquisition and upgrade offers, evolving customer base, and initiatives to develop revenue and reduce customer churn.
  • Transform large datasets using SQL in cloud platforms and leverage Python in Azure Databricks to analyze customer trends and conduct statistical analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth performance analysis of postpaid voice acquisition and upgrade offers, using SQL and Python to evaluate the effectiveness and profitability of promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape using industry data and tools to identify optimal markets for investment by tracking key metrics such as demographics, market share, distribution, churn, and network performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Finance, Pricing Strategy, and Operations to validate analytical findings and align on strategic narratives for C-level presentations.
  • Develop executive-level presentations that effectively communicate complex analytical findings to VP and Director-level audiences for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience in Financial Performance Analysis & Strategic Pricing.
  • Experience in Campaign Analysis & Competitive Research.
  • Experience with Machine Learning & Forecast Modeling using Python, SQL, and GCP or Azure ML Studio.
  • Experience with Mathematical Modeling & Optimization using Python, SQL, and GCP or similar tools.
  • Experience in Data Visualization & Reporting.
  • Experience with Relational Database Systems such as Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or similar, and Cloud Computing.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related, with three years of relevant work experience.
  • Or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related, with five years of relevant work experience.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • At least 18 years of age.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure Databricks or similar cloud data analysis tools.
  • Experience in evaluating promotional campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams for strategic alignment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related, with three years of relevant experience.
  • Or Bachelor's degree in the same fields with five years of relevant experience.
