About the Role

The Sr. Cloud Developer role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise is a hybrid position requiring an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office. Key Responsibilities

Hands-on lead working with a team of engineers across all phases of software development to deliver critical features impacting various products.
Participate in the design and development of complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration for scalable and robust cloud subsystems.
Review and evaluate designs, test plans, and develop code in accordance with cloud design and development standards.
Provide feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks.
Represent the engineering team in technical forums and mentor less-experienced team members.
Drive innovation and integrate new technologies into projects and activities within the software systems design organization.
Analyze data processing problems related to science, engineering, business, or network concerns to develop and implement solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related discipline.
Typically, 7-10 years of experience in relevant fields.
Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, Golang.
Understanding microservice architecture and containerized, Kubernetes-managed environments.
Experience in designing and integrating software systems across multiple platforms.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and testing scripts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex architectures and proposals at senior management levels.
