Sr Data Scientist For Data COE

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Proven functional experience in generating quick and sturdy business insights using standard tools and frameworks, potentially across various tech stacks including Open Source
• Work closely with Data and Software Engineers to provide robust and sustainable Business Intelligence
• Visual thinking of outputs, such as Tableau/ Power BI/ Streamlit, etc dashboards. Crispness in communicating the outputs is necessary
• Strong coding skills in R and Python; and scripting in SQL and MS Excel. Any other relevant programming language skills like Java, Scala, Julia, etc would be gladly welcomed
• Dependable hands-on skills in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data optimally
• Demonstrable experience in Supervised and Unsupervised learning - from Regression, Forecasting, Classification, to NLP, Decision and Search Algorithms

Requirements

• Clear understanding of frameworks/tools to create reproducible and valid insights while slicing and dicing the data for various needs across the business lines
• Familiarity with visualizations and narratives for data insights; experience with Interpretable/Explainable Machine Learning and Causal Inference is a nice-to-have
• Between 4-6 years of impactful experience in creating Data-driven products and productionizing ML models, with awareness of Data pipelines
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or related Scientific discipline, or a Masters/PhD with relevant experience
• An analytic conviction in all outputs is naturally essential

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Interpretable/Explainable Machine Learning and Causal Inference

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in disciplines such as Mathematics (Pure/Applied), Statistics, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or any other Scientific discipline
• Masters or PhD with lesser but applicable experience
