We help our customers free up time and space to become an Autonomous Digital Enterprise that conquers the opportunities ahead - and are relentless in the pursuit of innovation! The role involves driving the future of our Control-M product, a leading workload automation solution, by supporting and managing cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability in a SaaS ecosystem. You will work as part of a dynamic, globally distributed DevOps team to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and impact for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Python for automation, ensuring the seamless provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of cloud resources.
  • Leverage Jenkins extensively as the primary CI/CD tool for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and continuous integration and delivery.
  • Deploy and manage Microservices in a Kubernetes environment using Helm for package management and Kubectl for operational control, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications in production.
  • Monitor and support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and work to improve the overall system stability, performance, and uptime.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse team of professional DevOps Engineers to drive continuous improvements in automation, infrastructure management, and system reliability.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as application development, QA, and SRE to implement new features, ensure proper system integration, and maintain high operational standards.
  • Drive best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management, leveraging advanced technologies to solve complex technical challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of DevOps experience with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing systems, with a focus on continuous improvement, scaling infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters at scale; optimize networking, access control, and security; troubleshoot issues in cloud environments (EKS).
  • Advanced skills in infrastructure as code (IaC), writing reusable Terraform modules, managing cloud resources (e.g., EC2, S3) and provisioning infrastructure with consistency.
  • SaaS architecture expertise in AWS: Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable, multi-tenant SaaS applications, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC) to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures.
  • Skilled in writing, debugging, and optimizing Python scripts for automation, infrastructure management, and API interaction.
  • Expertise in containerizing applications, creating optimized Dockerfiles, managing container images, and using Docker Compose for multi-container apps.
  • Proficient in managing Kubernetes applications with Helm charts, creating custom charts, and automating deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying code, integrating Jenkins with Docker and Kubernetes for automation.
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP requirements and security controls, ensuring systems meet regulatory standards for data security and privacy.
  • Track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, with a focus on long-term fixes and continuous improvement.

  • Gaining hands-on experience with operational and monitoring tools such as DataDog.
  • Contributing throughout the entire development lifecycle—from design to production.

Qualifications
