About the Role

The Sr. Director of Brand and Integrated Marketing at Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is a strategic and creative leader responsible for elevating the Samsung Galaxy brand through innovative, 360-degree campaigns, programs, and activations. This role involves building affinity, engagement, and loyalty among current and future audiences, with a focus on making Samsung Galaxy the #1 mobile brand in the US. The position requires leading a team and external partners to develop and execute impactful marketing initiatives across multiple channels, connecting the brand to cultural relevance and market growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the global brand strategy into actionable, relevant, and differentiated strategy and brand positioning for the US.
  • Define and activate the Samsung mobile brand's unique role and place in culture.
  • Develop and align integrated marketing communications and brand activation briefs.
  • Create a steady drumbeat of integrated marketing campaigns, brand programs, and activations across owned, paid, and earned media.
  • Drive differentiated, ownable, and disruptive go-to-market strategies for the Samsung mobile portfolio in the US.
  • Build annual and quarterly integrated marketing and go-to-market plans based on product marketing strategies.
  • Develop and roll out integrated campaigns, programs, activations, and experiences that challenge the status quo.
  • Orchestrate 360-degree go-to-market and brand activation initiatives across channels, formats, and partners.
  • Lead development of integrated communications plans and translate internal product positioning into consumer-facing communications.
  • Develop and implement experiential marketing strategies for Samsung Mobile, including major product launches and events.
  • Build and lead a team of integrated marketers, setting vision, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Evaluate current team structure, attract diverse talent, and foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
  • Manage relationships with agency partners, external collaborators, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of integrated marketing experience across diverse brands, preferably in global consumer brands within entertainment, consumer technology, and lifestyle industries.
  • 10+ years of experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing large-scale, multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing agency and partner relationships to deliver comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Ability to translate consumer, cultural, and competitive insights into strategic activation plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate strategies clearly at all organizational levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive, relentless drive.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships with global teams and stakeholders.
