Key Responsibilities

Develop, design, and debug Offboard Software Systems in a Linux Kubernetes environment.
Work with a team of Java and Python software developers within an Agile framework across multiple projects.
Review and analyze offboard software requirements.
Conduct code reviews and develop test plans to ensure full software verification and validation at all levels.
Troubleshoot code and build issues, support released software and deployments.
Provide documentation and regular status updates to managers and project team leaders.
Implement, adhere to, and continuously improve software development processes and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of software engineering leadership experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience with Microservices, Java, Python, CI/CD, Agile, DevSecOps, AWS, SQL, and Test Driven Design (preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in software development and understanding of the software engineering development lifecycle.
Customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and effective communication with customers and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience with Microservices, Java, Python, CI/CD, Agile, DevSecOps, AWS, SQL, Test Driven Design.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM fields and 5+ years of leadership experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.

Benefits & Perks

Salary range of $82,000 to $164,000 USD.
