We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who will drive the strategic direction and implementation of our cloud infrastructure, automation practices, performance engineering, and AIOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in DevOps methodologies, leadership, cloud technologies, and a proven track record of improving scalability, security, and reliability across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural strategy and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructures.
  • Define and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) strategies using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Provide strategic oversight for the adoption and advancement of CI/CD practices using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.
  • Champion observability, telemetry, and AIOps methodologies to proactively monitor, manage, and optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Orchestrate performance engineering initiatives, including capacity planning, load testing, resilience engineering, and chaos testing.
  • Mentor and guide DevOps and engineering teams, establishing processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging DevOps technologies and methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align DevOps practices with organizational objectives and strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in a Principal or lead capacity.
  • Extensive experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure automation, and management.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Advanced proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Proven experience implementing comprehensive observability and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of AIOps tools and practices (Dynatrace, Moogsoft, Splunk ITSI, BigPanda).
  • Strong scripting and programming abilities (Python, Bash, Ruby, Go).
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading large-scale system deployments in high-availability environments.
  • Familiarity with security standard processes and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Active involvement in industry communities and contributions to DevOps innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Kubernetes (CKA).
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
