This role is a remote position focused on developing and maintaining software for EMS agencies to document patient care and improve outcomes, with an emphasis on creating efficient, customer-facing applications within an agile team.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the product owner, stakeholders, UX, QA, and other engineers to create effective solutions.
Participate in all aspects of .NET/web-based product delivery including planning, design, development, code reviews, testing, and production support.
Take the lead on designing larger features within the system and partner with key stakeholders to solve complex engineering problems.
Drive improvements to features, functionality, process, architecture, design, and performance to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Mentor and guide junior team members on their career growth.
Develop and evaluate code to ensure it is valid, properly structured, secure, performant, and aligned with industry best practices.
Ensure timely delivery of assignments in accordance with quality standards and agile practices.
Adhere to ZOLL engineering standards for UI development, database access, documentation, and development methodology.
Support operations teams in troubleshooting and resolving high-priority customer issues.
Monitor and respond to production incidents to ensure high availability of software.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a Full Stack engineer in a professional ASP.NET environment.
Demonstrated ability to deliver customer-facing web-based applications using dynamic web UI frameworks and .NET C#.
Mastery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web-based UI frameworks.
Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambdas, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge or similar Azure constructs.
Excellent knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), SQL, and stored procedure technologies (PL/SQL or T-SQL).
Proficiency with modern version control systems and CI/CD tools such as Git, BitBucket, and TeamCity.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns and tooling like CloudFormation or Terraform.
Deep background in writing automated tests including unit and API integration tests, and familiarity with mocking frameworks.
Strong desire to understand business problems and provide creative, collaborative solutions.
Experience providing technical and team leadership within an Agile development environment.
Willingness to troubleshoot and resolve issues in legacy code with excellent troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

Knowledge or experience in ColdFusion.
Experience with SaaS-based reporting and analytics products such as Snowflake, Birst, and Izenda.
Clinical domain knowledge or experience with the EMS space.
Experience with AI technologies and real-world product integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack engineer.
