About the Role

The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for producing scalable software solutions utilizing a range of different technologies and languages (such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, C#) to develop applications approaching software holistically in order to cater to both user experience and functionality. Work assignments will involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Senior Full Stack Engineer is involved in all stages of software development, including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management. Begins to influence department's strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Work with a team of developers with deep experience in frontend technologies, distributed microservices, and full stack systems
Work across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
Work with cloud native stack, build on Azure, AWS, or Google, use technologies like Kubernetes
Write effective REST APIs and technical documentation
Write automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency of the software product
Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages
Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes
Create and document AI solution designs that meet business goals and technical needs
Lead projects by providing guidance to development teams
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specs for AI solutions
Collaborate with teams to understand and define data needs
Research and recommend suitable AI technologies and tools for the organization
Ensure AI solutions are implemented according to standards

Requirements

Experience with full-stack development using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, C#
Knowledge of cloud native stacks, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Experience with Kubernetes and REST API development
Ability to write automated test cases
Strong understanding of software development standards and best practices
Experience in solution architecture and technical leadership
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and understand data requirements
Experience in AI technology evaluation and implementation
