About the Role

As a Sr Java Full Stack Developer you will make an impact by cross-collaborating and executing projects across multiple teams. You will be a valued member of Cognizant Digital Practice team and work collaboratively with stakeholders. Cognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to create new value, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy. We take an experience-centered approach using human insights to transform customer and employee experiences through design, marketing, and commerce capabilities. This role is remote, based in the United States, with a focus on flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate a solid understanding of software development principles and coding best practices.
Engage in full stack development activities.
Utilize front-end web development technologies and techniques.
Develop using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
Work with DevOps & Cloud tools such as Apigee, AWS (Rancher/Kubernetes), GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.
Design, build, and support APIs.
Coach and mentor junior developers.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive technical decisions.
Apply experience to recommend the best technical direction for efforts.
Drive cross-collaboration and project execution across multiple teams.
Solve problems creatively and think out of the box.
Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Communicate effectively, demonstrate strong people interaction, and exhibit self-leadership.
Provide thought leadership and influence continuous improvement.

Requirements

6-10 years of experience in Advanced Java and Spring Boot.
Full stack development experience.
Knowledgeable in front-end web development technologies and techniques.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular development.
Experience with DevOps & Cloud tools such as Apigee, AWS (Rancher/Kubernetes), GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

Experience in coaching and mentoring junior developers.
Experience working in a collaborative, multi-team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
