About the Role

The role of Sr .Net Azure Developer with CosmosDB involves designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions using .NET and Azure services. The position requires deep expertise in Cosmos DB, Azure core services, and related SDKs, with a focus on performance tuning, architecture, and migration strategies across Azure and AWS environments. The candidate will work on API integrations, infrastructure as code, and ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud applications within a hybrid or multi-cloud setup.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize Cosmos DB schemas, partition keys, indexing policies, and RU consumption to achieve sub-10 ms latencies at scale.
Implement and tune throughput strategies, including autoscaling and manual scaling, to optimize cost and performance.
Monitor and diagnose performance issues using Azure Monitor and Cosmos DB metrics.
Develop and maintain .NET 8 LTS applications using ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, and asynchronous programming techniques.
Integrate with Azure SDKs such as Azure.Messaging.NotificationHubs, Azure.Cosmos, and Azure.Identity for database operations, notifications, and authentication.
Work with Azure core services including Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Notification Hubs for event-driven and serverless architectures.
Design migration plans for re-architecting Azure-native services to AWS equivalents like SNS, SQS, Lambda, and EventBridge.
Configure and manage API gateways such as Azure API Management and Kong, including defining OpenAPI specs, versioning, CORS, and request transformations.
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM templates, and optionally Terraform for multi-cloud resource deployment and management.
Integrate IaC with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

Requirements

Full operational expertise in Cosmos DB, including designing partition keys, indexing policies, and RU tuning.
Proficiency in C#/.NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, and asynchronous programming.
Experience with Azure SDKs such as Azure.Messaging.NotificationHubs, Azure.Cosmos, and Azure.Identity.
Deep understanding of Azure core services: Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Notification Hubs.
Familiarity with AWS services: SNS, SQS, Lambda, and EventBridge, and experience with cross-cloud architecture.
Experience with API management, including Azure API Management and Kong API Gateway.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools: Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS cloud services such as Bicep, Terraform, and AWS-specific SDKs.
Knowledge of Angular or Blazor for front-end development.
Experience with SignalR or gRPC for real-time communication scenarios.
