Sr Outsystems Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business subject matter experts, software developers, and technical leadership to design and build high-impact business applications from start to finish.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to define project scope and requirements, and translate business processes into functional specifications and user stories.
• Lead technical design sessions to define user experience, data definition, process/rules configuration, and integration for automation solutions.
• Lead the build, test, and delivery of intelligent automation solutions using industry leading vendor technologies.
• Act as the Sprint team Dev Point when needed, including creating Release Candidates, mentoring team members, acting as a Dev Buddy for new hires, participating in brainstorming sessions, and engaging in customer interactions of a technical nature.
• Collaborate with teammates on the software development process and agile methodologies.
• Lead demonstrations to business stakeholders.
• Perform related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Management or other quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-7 years of experience in automation, software development, or data analysis.
• Minimum of three years of experience with system implementations and understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Information Security, and Digital Transformation.
• Minimum 3+ years experience with Outsystems low code framework.
• Experience with Outsystems, Mendix, Appian or other low code development platforms.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Skills in understanding and diagramming business logic workflows.
• Experience with applications implementing CRUD operations.
• SQL and database knowledge.
• General programming skills (Javascript, C#, SQL, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with clients at multiple levels.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, inquisitive, and a creative problem solver.
• Team-oriented with the ability to engage with a group to complete project tasks.
• Interest in future technologies and software.
• A strong understanding of Mortgage Servicing and Mortgage Default Servicing is a plus.

• Knowledge of Mortgage Servicing and Mortgage Default Servicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of experience in related areas.
