About the Role

The Sr. Software Developer role at AD SUSMAN & ASSOCIATES INC involves translating business and technical requirements into J2EE-based platforms and solutions. The position includes leading high-level architecture design, creating product design requirements, participating in construction and coding, and acting as a technical advisor to support development and professional services engagements. The role requires communication of architectural concepts through mentoring, presentations, and white papers, as well as driving tool selection, technology evaluation, and application migration to new platforms and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business and technical requirements into J2EE-based platforms and solutions.
Lead high-level architecture design in line with current and future business demand.
Drive the creation of new product design requirements and technical specifications.
Participate in the construction and coding of key modules, infrastructure, and proofs of concept.
Act as a technical advisor in support of key development and professional services engagements.
Communicate architectural concepts via mentoring, technical presentations, and white papers.
Drive tool selection and technologies for development.
Lead application migration to new platforms, databases, and technologies.
Lead performance testing and enhancements for the product.
Evaluate vendor and partner technologies.

Requirements

Candidates must pass drug screen and background check.
Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience: 60 months (5 years) of relevant experience.
Work onsite all of the time.
Full-time schedule, including day shift, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.
