About the Role

As Sr. Software Engineer II, you'll support operational sustainment and maintenance of the government customer's fielded capabilities, including software, models, algorithms, interfaces, integrations, Kubernetes environments, host software, database management, test, security patching, and M&S DevSecOps Platform. Key Responsibilities

Ensure legacy operational sustainment of all operational training, simulation, and stimulation artifacts.
Provide legacy CR/DR changes, GitLab ticket changes, User priorities, exercise urgent DRs, OS, fielding changes, exercise changes, etc.
Design and architect legacy ASCCE and Federation fielding and integration support.
Support to transition engineering all attributes marked for transition.

Requirements

Must have an active DoD SECRET Clearance.
7 years of experience in software development using languages and systems such as C++ and Python, with a focus on simulation frameworks like AFSIM.
Skilled in building and integrating web services, database systems, and web application development.
Experience working with cloud-based services (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) and/or RESTful architectures.

Qualifications

Experience with software development in C++ and Python
Experience with simulation frameworks like AFSIM
Knowledge of web services, database systems, and cloud services (AWS, Azure)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
