Our team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate with software, network, and systems engineers in designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements, overcome the limitations of traditional networking, and support highly available environments. The role involves architecture and design of software components leveraging virtualization, microservices, SDN, NFV, and big data platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations; supervising base and associate level engineers as needed.
  • Understand system protocols, system operations, and data flows; independently develop complete software stacks; engage in independent study of current technologies.
  • Design and integrate AI/ML models into intelligent applications using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Azure ML.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) using services like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, and serverless components.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters for scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
  • Design and develop robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks; work with structured and unstructured data across data lakes, warehouses, and relational databases.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices ensuring integration with AI models and data sources.
  • Contribute to designs to implement new ideas utilizing new frameworks to improve systems, processes, or services.
  • Review existing designs and processes to identify more efficient methods based on industry perspectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and utilize system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
  • Mentor others through workshops or learning sessions; contribute to the development of team members.
  • Write basic documentation on technology systems, code, and designs; create clear documentation for new systems and code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 4-7+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, utilizing services like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, and other serverless components.
  • Proficiency in designing and integrating AI/ML models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Azure ML.
  • Skilled in designing and developing robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
  • Communication skills required.
  • Customer service skills required.
  • Analytics skills required.
  • Technical writing skills required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • 4-7+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python/R, Java/Scala, and/or Go.
  • 4-7+ years of experience delivering high-quality ML models in production environments.
