About the Role

As part of USANA's mobile product team, you'll work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality code. Your in-depth system knowledge will be crucial for effectively and quickly debugging complex tasks across the codebase. This role requires engineers who are passionate about technology and software development and are capable of creating solutions for our users. You will own the technical design for projects of moderate complexity, support team processes, uphold coding standards, and contribute to operational tasks such as monitoring, performance optimization, documentation, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and clean up technical debt before it turns into a long-term issue
Work well with QA and can identify the risk associated with software and communicate it to the appropriate parties
Have responsibility for projects that encompass more than their own development
Provide mentorship to other engineers via code reviews, code pairing, and effectively presenting ideas and concepts to other engineers
Break down large projects into manageable tasks
Support team processes and uphold coding standards
Troubleshoot, debug, and complete complex tasks using system knowledge
Support operational skills including monitoring, performance optimization, documentation, and testing

Requirements

Approximately 5+ years of experience
Mastery of Swift / Swift UI
Mastery of Objective C

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Experience working in scrum/agile environments
Polyglot programming skills
Experience with Apollo / GraphQL
