Key Responsibilities

Design and develop security features on the next-generation firewalls
Work with product management on user requirements and apply knowledge to functional design
Utilize programming skills for efficient and robust implementation
Interact with quality assurance and field support teams throughout the entire software development cycle
Contribute in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition and design to implementation and testing
Design new product features with a high focus on quality and execution
Develop functional specifications, assess task requirements and scheduling, and assist in development, debugging, and support
Suggest and implement improvements to the development process
Clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams
Interview, mentor, and coach new team members

Requirements

B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, a similar technical discipline, or equivalent practical or military experience
5+ years of enterprise product development experience with C in a Unix/Linux environment
Hands-on experience debugging code using tools like GDB
Working knowledge of TCP/IP internals, data structures, and algorithms
Verbal and written communication skills to work with multi-functional groups
A can-do attitude in a dynamic working environment

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Windows kernel and Windows Filtering Platform
Experience with multi-core / multi-process / multi-threaded programming
Experience with Windows agent programming and cloud programming (Go)
Experience with large-scale and high-performance software design and development
Experience with TLS internals, cryptography, and OpenSSL
Experience with HTTP and web server backend development
Graduate degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or similar
Experience with TLS internals, cryptography, and OpenSSL

Qualifications
