Key Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
Creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance
Performs analysis on failures, proposes design changes, and encourages operational improvements
Makes sound design and coding decisions with customer experience in mind
Takes feedback from code reviews and applies changes to meet standards
Conducts code reviews to guide engineering best practices and compliance
Ensures all aspects of product development follow compliance and security standards
Embeds software reliability engineering standards into development processes
Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Reviews tasks critically, prioritizes and sizes them for incremental delivery, and communicates blockers or delays

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Five to six years of relevant experience
Strong experience in Azure cloud services and migration strategies
Proficiency in Java (Java 17 and above) for backend development
Extensive experience with the Spring Framework, SQL and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience with GraphQL API development using frameworks like Spring for GraphQL or Apollo
Familiarity with caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis)
Experience with Generative AI frameworks and tools such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI Service, and GitHub Copilot
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
Familiarity with enterprise-level applications and large-scale system integrations
Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools
Knowledge of prompt engineering and model optimization techniques
