About the Role

As part of Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems business area, the C4ISR line of business creates leading-edge global mission integration capabilities and products for our partners across all domains. Our team provides rapid capability development and operational readiness leveraging industry best-practices and innovative solutions to ensure the program meets operational requirements and matures existing government owned software in an efficient and effective manner. This position involves providing subject matter proficiency, supporting process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition, along with front-end design and development efforts including creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and associated documentation for review, planning, and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs). The role requires a government security clearance and is based onsite at a Lockheed Martin facility.

Key Responsibilities

Provide subject matter proficiency and analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition.
Perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development, including creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for review.
Plan and implement modifications to GUIs, optimize UI elements, system navigation, and facilitate operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
Experience performing front-end web design and development.
Experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, lnVision).
Experience testing web-based applications.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice to Have

Full-Scope Polygraph.
10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
5 years of recent and relevant experience in front-end web design and development.
Demonstrated experience in system testing, UI/UX standards, wireframes, and mockups.
Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
Experience leading software development projects.
Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
Experience with Jenkins, Gitlab, and at least five of the following tools: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
Experience with Agile Test-Driven Development and integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
