Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient CI/CD pipelines that support continuous testing, quality assurance, and release automation for RCCL
  • Drive automation of job scheduling and resource management across compute clusters using tools like SLURM
  • Architect integrations with CI systems (e.g., Jenkins) and version control platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) to streamline developer workflows
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering best practices in CI/CD, testing, and infrastructure reliability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment on performance, compatibility, and release goals
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, proposing architectural enhancements, and driving adoption of modern CI/CD practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading CI/CD initiatives in large-scale, performance-critical software environments
  • Deep expertise with CI frameworks such as Jenkins, including pipeline-as-code and custom plugin development
  • Strong background in cluster and job management tools like SLURM
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, C/C++, and Groovy
  • Solid understanding of CPU and GPU architectures, with experience supporting heterogeneous compute environments
  • In-depth knowledge of software development best practices, including automated testing, profiling, and release engineering
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance profiling and optimization
  • Experience working in a geographically distributed agile team
  • Strong communication skills and results-oriented mindset
