About the Role

AMD AIG team is looking for a highly skilled software engineer with expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps practices. You will play a key role in evolving our CI/CD infrastructure for Ryzen AI product line, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency. This is a high-impact position where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain next-generation CI/CD systems that drive developer productivity and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, high-performance CI/CD pipelines for various components in Ryzen AI stack.
Develop automation frameworks for build, test, and deployment infrastructure.
Integrate security best practices into CI/CD workflows, including supply chain security and vulnerability scanning.
Incorporate SDLC automation practices for improved software quality and compliance.
Work with security and static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity, Snyk, or similar) to enforce code quality and security standards.
Collaborate with development, QA, and SRE teams to optimize CI/CD workflows.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability.
Drive adoption of infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerized deployments.
Participate in root cause analysis of build failures and drive issue resolution.

Requirements

Experience working on large-scale CI/CD platforms and integrating open-source tools.
Strong programming skills in Python; Go is a plus.
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.
Proficiency with GitOps workflows and integrating webhooks from GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket.
Experience with security and static analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity, Snyk, or similar).
Good understanding of SDLC processes and automation techniques.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.

Nice to Have

Experience working in embedded systems.
Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Kibana.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
