About the Role

AMD AIG team is looking for a highly skilled software engineer with expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps practices. You will play a key role in evolving our CI/CD infrastructure for Ryzen AI product line, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency. This is a high-impact position where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain next-generation CI/CD systems that drive developer productivity and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance CI/CD pipelines for various components in Ryzen AI stack.
  • Develop automation frameworks for build, test, and deployment infrastructure.
  • Integrate security best practices into CI/CD workflows, including supply chain security and vulnerability scanning.
  • Incorporate SDLC automation practices for improved software quality and compliance.
  • Work with security and static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity, Snyk, or similar) to enforce code quality and security standards.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and SRE teams to optimize CI/CD workflows.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability.
  • Drive adoption of infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerized deployments.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of build failures and drive issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Experience working on large-scale CI/CD platforms and integrating open-source tools.
  • Strong programming skills in Python; Go is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.
  • Proficiency with GitOps workflows and integrating webhooks from GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket.
  • Experience with security and static analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity, Snyk, or similar).
  • Good understanding of SDLC processes and automation techniques.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Kibana.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
