Staff Front End Developer -TS/SCI Required

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter proficiency and support process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition.
• Perform analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, and creating functional architectures.
• Perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development, including creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and associated documentation for review.
• Plan and implement modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), construct and optimize UI elements, and facilitate operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
• Experience performing front-end web design and development.
• Experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).
• Experience testing web-based applications.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance (TS/SCI).

Nice to Have

• Full-Scope Polygraph.
• 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in front-end web design and development.
• Experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests.
• Experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design with UI/UX standards.
• Experience generating system wireframes and mockups considering multiple user personas.
• Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• Experience leading software development programs/projects.
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Jenkins and Gitlab.
• Experience with at least five of the following tools: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
• Experience using Agile Test-Driven Development and integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
• Experience with CI/CD software development.
