Staff Marketing Data Scientist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a holistic Home Loans (HL) and Home Equity (HE) marketing and offer strategy spanning multiple channels, including an end-to-end offer strategy framework to experiment and optimize offer construct, product preference, and audience selection.
• Explore bureau data and other third-party non-FCRA data to improve marketing strategies and conversion rates, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the acquisition funnel.
• Measure and analyze the effectiveness and ROI of marketing strategies, making data-driven recommendations and driving informed actions.
• Work with experienced data scientists to own all analytics tasks related to HL/HE, and support requests for other lending products as needed.
• Transform business objectives into data-driven, actionable tactics and campaigns that generate immediate results and establish a foundation for sustained growth.
• Convert complex data into compelling narratives and concise presentations to inform and guide decision-making at the senior management level.
• Fulfill partner requests promptly by providing timely analysis, navigating ambiguity, and focusing on solution-oriented approaches.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Units, Risk, Finance, Product, and Engineering, assisting senior leaders in developing new features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (Masters preferred) in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
• 8+ years of relevant marketing experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on pre-screened/pre-approved campaigns.
• Strong preference for industry experience in Home Equity loans or Mortgage.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
• Experience building data pipelines with Airflow, preferably in Snowflake.
• Demonstrated experience with experimentation and hypothesis testing.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling or machine learning is a plus.
• High intellectual curiosity and a quick learner of new technical skills.
• Ability to initiate and drive projects independently to completion, and to clearly communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Strong relationship-building and collaborative skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of statistical modeling or machine learning.

Qualifications

• The role offers a pay range of $108,800.00 - $204,000.00 annually, with final offer based on experience, skills, and location.
