Job Description

About the Role

As a Staff Product Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to identify, design, and deliver breakthrough solutions across complex domains with high business impact. You'll own end-to-end product lifecycle activities from discovery through delivery, with the autonomy to frame new opportunities and influence key technical and business decisions. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and are eager to explore uncharted product spaces, guide innovation, and elevate team performance across product and engineering. You'll serve as the connective tissue between user insights, technical feasibility, and strategic business alignment, driving consensus among senior stakeholders, engineering leads, designers, and customer-facing teams. Success will be measured by outcomes tied to adoption, user satisfaction, business impact, and long-term platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a phased roadmap for a complex product line, grounded in user needs and aligned with company priorities.
  • Lead the planning, rollout, and optimization of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within the first 90-120 days, using iterative development to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and refine user experience.
  • Lead end-to-end decisions on trade-offs, backlog priorities, and scaling strategies using data-informed and customer-centric approaches.
  • Articulate clear product strategies and narratives to influence cross-functional alignment and secure organizational commitment.
  • Identify cross-functional dependencies, risks, and resource constraints to navigate ambiguity and unlock paths for feature delivery and innovation.
  • Explore first-principles thinking to identify new market or customer problem spaces, develop differentiated product visions, and articulate unit economics and value propositions.
  • Foster a culture of feedback, ownership, and learning by mentoring other PMs, contributing to product rituals, and guiding teams through customer journeys and experimentation.

Requirements

  • Years of experience in product management or related roles with a proven record of launching high-impact, user-centric software products at scale.
  • Strong data fluency and working knowledge of product analytics, experimentation, and hypothesis testing.
  • Exceptional communication and consensus-building skills to align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort with technical conversations about architecture, data flows, APIs, and platform strategy.
  • Understanding of agile development practices, lean experimentation, and customer discovery techniques.
  • Evidence of the Achiever Pattern, including upward mobility, impact-led roles, and ownership in unclear environments.
  • Domain-level expertise across multiple subdomains and proactive identification of automation opportunities and process improvements.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
  • Experience with assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility to support an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 9 years' experience in product management or related area.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area with 6 years' experience as a product manager.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive pay with performance-based bonus awards.
  • Health benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage.
  • Financial benefits such as 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance.
  • Paid time off including PTO, sick leave, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting.
  • Other benefits like short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement.
  • PTO and PPTO for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes, with amounts based on job classification and employment length.
  • Live Better U education benefit program covering tuition, books, and fees for associates.
