About the Role

EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity with a diverse range of services including satellite television, live-streaming, on-demand programming, smart home installation, and mobile plans. The company’s brands include Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Gen Mobile, Hughes, and Sling TV. The Wireless Technology team is building and enhancing the country's first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network, designed to be flexible and meet the evolving needs of society.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead the planning and execution of lead device and solution engineering projects to ensure successful delivery
Efficiently manage project timelines, certification requests, and work requests
Lead project and leadership team meetings, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders and collaboration across DISH teams
Provide weekly updates to project plans and reporting dashboards in collaboration with Product and Project Managers
Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, fostering collaboration and excellence
Manage certification device tracking, SIM card inventory, and asset management systems

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in testing mobile devices and project management
Skilled in wireless device certification tools and processes
Proficient in managing wireless industry projects and product lines, including 5G network product certification
Strong leadership and communication abilities
PMP certification or equivalent project management expertise

Nice to Have

Experience with 5G network product certification
Experience managing wireless industry projects

Qualifications

Educational background in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
8+ years of relevant experience in mobile device testing and project management
PMP certification or equivalent
