The role involves serving as a Staff Software Development Engineer for RxClaim, responsible for solution architecture, technical direction, and ensuring quality standards within PBM and RxClaim applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development estimation activities and present to senior leaders.
Make certain appropriate and effective data integration across multiple applications.
Provide solutions and design complex functionality within the RxClaim application (adjudication area).
Mentor and lead assigned team projects and mentor junior resources as needed.
Review technical solutions and document projects, including analysis, design, program specifications, and code reviews.
Help define standards, methodologies, and guidelines, and ensure compliance while aligning solutions to the RxClaim application architecture.

Requirements

7 years experience and a deep understanding of AS/400 application development.
7 years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE and CL; Synon2/E (aka COOL 3/E).
5 years of IBMi SQL experience.
7 years of recent experience leading concurrent technical projects on IBM iSeries.

Nice to Have

Demonstrated successful completion of several medium to large scope projects; proficiency working on all phases of SDLC and with problem determination and resolution through research and fact finding.
Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication system.
Experience in Agile & Scrum.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or 8 equivalent years of related professional experience in combination with years of education.
