Staff Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work with IT internal and external Support and Delivery teams and internal clients.
• Provide support, technical design, development solutions, and best practices within the PR development team to deliver coordinated software solutions.
• Provide information system technology solutions.
• Analyze information system requirements, create designs, and provide documentation.
• Create applications from scratch, configure existing systems, and provide user support.
• Maintain existing functionality and develop new features in web-based in-house custom and customer self-service applications.
• Lead enterprise release projects by providing level of efforts of assignments, coordinating resources for development, analyzing complex business requirements, and producing high-quality design documents and code.
• Maintain and develop backend integration services interacting with Billing and Payment systems.
• Work with RDBMS and Oracle systems, PLSQL, SQL Server, Database Triggers, and Unit test applications and systems.
• Work with Business Analysts to ensure requirements align with the end user perspective.
• Research production issues by understanding existing code.
• Provide leadership or project management within application development teams to deliver coordinated software solutions.
• Update SOX process documentation quarterly and perform/monitor required SOX controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Application, or a closely related field.
• 5 years of Oracle Development methodology and Oracle Database performance work experience in the job offered or as Senior Developer/Technical Architect/Technical Lead.
• 5 years of experience with Oracle system architecture, programming, and process.
• Experience with Oracle, PL SQL, and SQL.
• Experience with DB Triggers, ASP.Net, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of MVC5, .Net Core, and AngularJS.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Visual Studio.
• Experience with TFS, Jenkins, HP ALM, and Rally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5 years of relevant Oracle development and performance experience.
