Staff, Software Engineer - GenAI Platform

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of platform features with microservices (FastAPI) and event-driven (Kafka, SSE, WebSocket) architecture
• Uphold the engineering and operational excellence standards and embrace automation following DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principle
• Stay up-to-date with GenAI and adopt new solutions and best practices
• Collaborate with applied researchers and data scientists to bring cutting-edge GenAI research into application
• Be an active member of a dynamic team
• Support production operations by participating in on-call rotations

Requirements

• Python Guru that embraces Pythonic way of thinking. You should be exceptional at writing high-performing production-quality code in Python
• Hands-on experience designing and building Python-based web services in production setting
• Comfortable working with Linux and container solutions, including Kubernetes, Docker
• Expertise in using CI/CD and E2E automated testing tools
• 4+ years of industry experience along with a proven track record of ownership and delivery
• Familiar with version control using Git in collaboration settings

Nice to Have

• Experience with developing enterprise level Machine Learning/GenAI solutions
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines in online advertising, recommender system, e-commerce, or relevant areas

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area
• Option 2: 6 years' experience in software engineering or related area
• Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
