About the Role

The Aircraft Media Gateway (AMG) program enables the P-8A aircraft to sustain and improve the armed maritime and littoral Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities for United States Naval forces in traditional, joint and combined roles to counter changing and emerging threats. You will be joining Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems as part of an integrated engineering team that cares about each other and the mission, embodying Lockheed Martin's core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technically complex software systems in an agile scrum environment.
  • Support the generation of reliable and reproducible media builds for fleet releases.
  • Provide support for external network interfaces for data ingest and offload, as well as hardware rack builds.
  • Implement and integrate software to incorporate customer software changes, DevSecOps, and network infrastructure.
  • Build software, maintain deployment to hardware, and develop automated installation software.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience leading a technical software team.
  • At least 2 years of experience with building P-8A Aircraft Media through RAID and partition creation, Operational Flight Program installation, and Pre-flight Insertion Data installation.
  • A team player with the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience with interfacing directly with external customers.
  • Experience with Redhat Linux, Java, Spring Boot, Containerization technology (e.g., Docker), ActiveMQ, MongoDB, scripting (Python, Bash), React.js, Blueprintjs, and Gitlab.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be a US Citizen.
  • Security clearance at Top Secret level.

  • DevSecOps experience.
  • Boot Image Creation.
  • Virtual Machines experience.
  • RESTful API development.
  • Microservice Development.
  • Integration and Test experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 9 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with over 7 years of experience, or equivalent experience/education.
